  2. QUALCOMM PureVoice™ Plug-in VERSION 1.6.8 FOR Macintosh

  5. The PureVoice™ Plug-in for Eudora® provides convenient integration between the PureVoice Player-Recorder and Eudora.  This integration allows one to easily add voice message attachments to Eudora email messages.  The Plug-in also allows in-message playback of received PureVoice messages.

  8. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  11. To use QUALCOMM's PureVoice Plug-in for Macintosh, you must have the following:

  13. *  Macintosh System 7.0.1 or later (7.5 or later recommended).
  14. *  Sound Manager 3.2.1 or later (included in the PureVoice installer).
  15. *  Eudora Pro version 3.1 or later or Eudora Light version 3.1 or later.
  16. *  In-message playback requires Eudora Pro version 4.0 or later AND Apple® QuickTime version 3.0 or later.

  20. INSTALLATION

  23. Installation is simple. Once you have downloaded the PureVoice installer from our Web site (<http://eudora.qualcomm.com/purevoice>), just double-click on the PureVoice installation icon on your desktop, and follow the instructions in the installation screens.

  25. You must quit and then restart Eudora in order to gain access to PureVoice through the Eudora menus.

  27. To install the PureVoice Plug-in manually do this:
  28.      1. Place a copy of the "PureVoice™ Help" file into the "Eudora Stuff" folder located in the same folder as the Eudora application.
  29.      2. Place a copy (or alias) of the "PureVoice Plug-in" file into the "Eudora Stuff" folder located in the same folder as the Eudora application.
  30.      3. Quit and restart Eudora.

If you experience something you think might be a bug in PureVoice, please submit a bug report through our web site at <http://eudora.qualcomm.com/purevoice/bugs.html>.  Describe what you did, what happened, what version of PureVoice you have (select About PureVoice... from the Apple menu), any error messages PureVoice gave (the numbers in ()'s are especially important), what kind of computer you have, what version of System Software you're using, and anything else you think might be relevant.
